What is included in the package?
This will be discussed at a site visit and confirmed by a quotation, but generally you are hiring a marquee (and accessories of your choice). The cost always includes the installation and dismantling of the marquee. Visit this page to see all the additional extras we offer.
When do you install our marquee?
We aim to install your marquee 2-3 days before the event so that you have time to decorate/prepare it. However, we can work around you and your venue.
When do you take the marquee down?
We take the marquee down a day or two after the event, we will again discuss this with you, we will work with what suits you and the venue if we can.
How do we pay?
We ask for a 20% deposit when you book and then ask for the balance to be paid around the time of installation. We can accept cheques and cash but mostly customers pay via bank transfer.
Can you only use marquees in the summer?
No, they can be used all year round. They keep the wind out and we have heaters that can warm them up! In fact winter is a lovely time to hire a marquee.
Do they have to be erected on grass?
No, we can install marquees on hard ground as well and secure them using either raw bolts or water weights.
What if our numbers change?
We can accommodate that by increasing or decreasing the size of the marquee if numbers change dramatically. Or we can just amend the number of tables and chairs that have been ordered.
Can we book everything through you?
Yes. Not only do we hire out marquees and all the accessories we work with other companies to supply furniture, catering equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware as well as toilets and generators. We can book them for you or you can go to the suppliers direct. Find out more.
Can we add separate areas for catering? Or a reception marquee etc?
Yes, you can basically have whatever you need. Many of our marquees have a catering area added to the back. We can add on an entrance porch which lots of people use to hold drinks or the table plan. You can also add different size marquees either onto the sides of the marquees or in a separate area. Some weddings use one marquee for the ceremony and another for the wedding breakfast/evening entertainment.
What about decorating the marquee?
The beauty of hiring a marquee is that you can decorate/style it exactly as you wish. We can supply ivory drapes or hire in coloured wall/roof linings and swags. Some people add pom poms or bunting or balloons or fairy lights. You really can make it look exactly how you have pictured it to look.
Do you do long term hire?
Yes we do. Usually most people have an event in mind so the marquee is up for around 4-7 days however some customers what to keep the marquee up for 3-6 months. We can work with your requirements. If you would like advice on hiring a marquee for longer periods, please do contact us to discuss.
