We recently went to visit St Peters Brewery and can recommend this as a perfect venue for a wedding.
The building is a former 13th century monastery set within lovely grounds. If you book your wedding with St Peters Brewery you get the whole building and grounds exclusively to yourselves and your wedding party for the day and evening. There is a little chapel room upstairs in the old monastery where the ceremonies are held. Downstairs there is a cosy bar area plus a lovely old room where you can have your wedding breakfast. This room can cater for up to 60 guests.
As the owner and his son are chefs the menu is not set which is fantastic as it means you can have a tailor made menu to cater for your own styles and tastes. We ate a lovely lunch time meal there and the food was superb. There is even a brewery on site (which was founded in 1996) so if you are a beer lover you get to try lots of different types.
If you plan to have a larger wedding with more than 60 guests the venue can hire in marquees so that you have your wedding breakfast out on the lawns, overlooking the moat, which is where we come in. You can then have your evening entertainment split between the marquee and the monastery giving you plenty of inside and outside space to enjoy your special day. It really is a perfect venue for your very own unique wedding.

We also visited a lovely little B&B in Homersfield.
This is an old farmhouse in the middle of the countryside, run by a very friendly couple. If you cannot find a venue for your wedding and want a marquee that you can dress up as you wish then Heath Farm House are happy to provide the grounds for your wedding.
Homersfield Church is a short distance away so everything can be kept local, you can then bring in your own caterers, bar and decorations to ensure that your wedding is exactly as you always dreamed it would be.
